La Conner, a thriving and picturesque tourist destination, is located about 15 minutes from Team. A popular day-trip destination, La Conner offers a nice selection of restaurants, shops and bed-and-breakfast hotels.

Anacortes, about 15 minutes due west of Team, offers several pleasure boat marinas and marine related service businesses. Good shopping and tourist facilities make Anacortes a destination for locals as well as tourists.

Looking north from a popular viewpoint above Anacortes toward Mount Baker. Anacortes is the home port for the Washington State Ferry run to the San Juan Islands and Sydney, British Columbia.

 

Looking back at the Skagit Valley from the north.

Heading north from the Skagit Valley up the popular Chuckanut Drive leading to Bellingham, you're treated to views of Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. This stretch of water is a favorite of sailboarders and kite board enthusiasts.

The Skagit Valley is a major producer of tulips, daffodils and iris, plus a variety of seed crops. The annual Tulip Festival draws thousands of visitors to the area each spring.
